This Philips/Saeco cartridge allows you to filter the water of your coffee machineAquaClean CA6903/10. Thanks to its patented technology, it guarantees you purer and softened water, for a flavorful coffee and a protected coffee machine.
The AquaClean CA6903/00 cartridge integrates a microporous filter that reduces the presence of impurities in your water. The ion exchange technology of this cartridge reduces the presence of limescale in the water, thus preventing deposits. By renewing the filter every quarter, you will considerably reduce the limescale present in your coffee machine.
However, please note: on some machines, activating AquaClean deactivates the descaling indicator. It is important to remain attentive to the descaling frequency to maintain excellent coffee quality.
The maintenance of a coffee machine involves several steps (weekly rinsing of the coffee group, monthly greasing and degreasing of the group, replacement of liquid descaler, filter cartridge and quarterly AquaClean...), and descaling is an essential part of it. Descaling your coffee machine is necessary to, on the one hand, extend its lifespan, and on the other hand, obtain purified water and an optimal result in the cup. Descaling effectively reduces the hardness of your water, resulting in a more pleasant result in the cup.
Equipped with an AquaClean filter, your machine requires descaling much less frequently. With the AquaClean filter, descaling is not required before 5,000 cups. However, to benefit from this advantage, you must replace the AquaClean filter every 3 months or every 625 cups.
