The AquaClean cartridgeis a true innovation in the world of automatic espresso machine maintenance. Its operation relies onmicroporous filtrationtechnology combined with a highly efficiention exchangesystem. This double mechanism naturally eliminates limescale present in water before it even reaches your machine's internal circuits, while retaining small impurities that could alter your coffee's flavor.

Thanks to its patented Philips water circuit, water passes through the filter for a longer duration, ensuring optimal purification. Its composition based oncitric acidandlactic acid, the result of 25 years of brand experience, ensures descaling that is both effective and respectful of the fragile parts inside your appliance. This exclusive formula deeply cleans all water circuits, eliminates accumulated limescale, and even prevents rust formation. The 250 ml bottle corresponds exactly to therequired quantity for a complete descaling cycle, simplifying its use

Pairing the AquaClean filter with your machine considerably changes the descaling frequency. By replacing your filter cartridge regularly every 3 months, you can postpone descaling operations up to 5000 cups, which represents approximately only one descaling every 18 months. This exceptional performance results from the protective effect of the filter which acts upstream to neutralize limescale and prevent its deposit in the internal circuits of the appliance. Once eight AquaClean filters have been changed successively, your machine will automatically reactivate the descaling alert, indicating that a full maintenance is now required.
