The Mozzafiato Cronometro R model features a heat exchanger and a rotary pump that is virtually silent. This espresso machine allows direct connection to the water network.

This espresso machine has a digital timer that integrates harmoniously into the stainless steel body design. It displays when the pump is activated and turns off with it.

The PID digital is hidden behind the drip tray to preserve the all-stainless steel retro look of the machine. It can be adjusted to suit different roasting styles. The PID maintains the brewing water temperature stable to the degree.

The E61 group head circulates water from the boiler through the group to promote temperature stability.

As with other models, Rocket Espresso has equipped the Mozzafiato Cronometro R with a dual pre-infusion system, with a mechanical piston system that works gradually in a static pre-infusion chamber, for fully saturated extractions rich in crema.

Inside, the Mozzafiato Cronometro R is identical to the Giotto model, it only differs by its less imposing size from the outside. It houses a large 1.8 L copper boiler and a 1350 watt heating element, and integrated sensors that monitor the boiler and reservoir levels.
The machine alerts you and, if necessary, automatically shuts off to prevent the boiler from running dry.

The Cronometro R also features height-adjustable feet, a steam wand Cool Touch  powerful for latte art and a separate hot water tap.

Maintenance and backflush

Note: For machines connected to the water network, it is highly recommended to use a water softening and filtration kit (as with a professional espresso machine). This kit is essential to ensure that the water is safe for your machine and will provide better taste to your espresso. If the water is not filtered, you risk damaging your machine in the long run and having the warranty voided by the brand, for lack of maintenance.
