The SAGE Barista Express Impress espresso machine represents the evolution of the famous Barista Express, the brand's best-selling model worldwide over the past five years.
Like its predecessor, the Barista Express Impress features an elegant stainless steel body. Its integrated grinder features high-quality stainless steel conical burrs, offering 25 adjustment levels to achieve the perfect grind suited to the coffee bean selected.
SAGE offers single wall filters, as well as dual wall filters, compatible with pre-ground coffee, a practical solution for your guests who enjoy decaffeinated coffee.
This SAGE Barista Express Impress coffee machine will give you the possibility to easily prepare all your favorite caffeinated drinks, from espresso to cappuccino. The Barista universe opens up to you!
The Impress Puck : The perfect dose with less effort
The innovative Impress Puck system from SAGE marks a real advancement. It streamlines grinding, dosing and tamping operations to deliver the ideal quantity. Position your portafilter in the compartment provided under the grinder to initiate grinding. The quantity is automatically determined based on the last extracted coffee. The grinder distributes the ground coffee evenly in the filter.
Tamping is performed via the lever on the side of the machine. However, the SAGE Barista Express Impress is not limited to simple tamping. Indeed, the Impress Puck system reproduces the barista's gesture with a pressure of 10 kg and a professional 7° rotation on the ground coffee puck. This straight and uniform tamping ensures optimal extraction. The tamping lever requires no effort, as the machine does all the work.
In addition, a light gauge indicates whether the amount of ground coffee is adequate during tamping. If not, the system will record the result and correct the dose for the next extraction.
Creamy milk foam and hot water to customize your favorite drinks
The SAGE Barista Express Impress espresso machine can prepare one or two cups of coffee. It also features a hot water outlet specific (next to the steam wand), to preheat your cups, make a lungo coffee or serve tea to your guests, for example.
The machine has a 360° rotating powerful stainless steel steam wand to find the optimal angle. Steam is delivered at 130° C to obtain micro-foam, ideal for a cappuccino. A stainless steel milk jug is included with the SAGE Barista Express Impress to practice your Latte Art.
Furthermore, the PID and the fast heating system Thermocoil (integrated stainless steel water circuit), regulate the water temperature and ensure excellent thermal stability, to reveal all the aromas of a good specialty coffee.
Other advantages of the SAGE Barista Express Impress
The Pre-infusion automatic or manual: you can adjust the pre-infusion duration according to your extraction.
Front pressure gauge to monitor pressure during extraction.
Cup volume programming: you can memorize your cup dose according to your preferences.
Water temperature adjustment: you can increase or decrease the hot water temperature by +/- 2°C in 1°C increments from the factory setting.
A indicator that flashes when a cleaning cycle is required and a drip tray fill signal to warn you when the tray needs to be emptied.
A small hidden drawer behind the drip tray to store your accessories and a 2 L water tank2 L.

Maintenance: To extend the life of your Sage espresso machine and for better results in the cup, it is recommended to use a filter cartridge (or already filtered water). Remember to descale your machine following the brand's recommendations (see manual) and clean the accessories regularly.
