Ideal for beginners, the Smeg CGF03 grinder combines vintage design and ease of use. Equipped with a conical burr and preset functions, it is perfectly suited for gentle methods and filter coffee. However, it should be noted that the grind described as "medium" tends towards a coarse particle size, which slightly reduces precision for certain extractions.
Ergonomics remain a strong point, with its 240 g Twist & Lock hopper, non-slip base, and manual or preset modes for a single or double dose. The lever and button interface proves intuitive and pleasant for daily use. On the downside, there is rather significant retention and a somewhat high noise level, elements to consider for frequent use.
