The SMEG ECF02PKEU Pink is the improved version of the ECF01 model.
SMEG kept the iconic 50s vintage design, with some changes from the original model.
The ECF02 model offers more features and an improved steam wand.
All machines in the ECF02 range are made in Italy.
The SMEG ECF02PKEU espresso machine is simple to use.
It will allow you to make good coffees from pre-ground coffee, using the pressurized filters or from ESE pods with the filter provided for this purpose.
Of course, your coffee will have more flavor if you use freshly ground coffee beans. An entry-level coffee grinder will be sufficient to obtain an espresso grind suitable for the filters of this SMEG coffee machine.
The SMEG ECF02PKEU pink coffee machine is programmable with four accessible buttons on top of the machine.
The new feature on the ECF02 range is the ability to access two operating modes
By following the simple instructions in the manual, you can access the basic mode and the secondary mode.
Basic mode (LED lights are white):
- Single espresso
- Double espresso
- Steam (normal intensity)
Secondary mode (LED lights are orange):
- Long single espresso
- Long double espresso
- Steam (more powerful intensity)
You can also adjust the water temperature (low, medium, high), water hardness (soft, medium, hard) and automatic standby (10 min, 30 min, 3 hours).
The improved design stainless steel steam wand will allow you to make milk foam for your milk-based drinks.
The steam wand will also allow you to dispense hot water to make tea or a long coffee. The 1.1 L water tank provides good autonomy.
This machine has anti-slip feet to ensure optimal stability on your worktop.
The SMEG ECF02PKEU allows you to prepare coffee in larger cups by removing the tray located under the brew group.
An audible signal will alert you when the water reservoir level is insufficient and descaling is required.
This coffee machine comes with 2 pressurized filters for ground coffee and a filter for ESE pods.
The portafilter is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 51 mm.
Other accessories included: ABS measuring spoon with tamper end, Water hardness test strip, Steam wand cleaning needle.
The filter cartridge is not included.
