Revisiting the iconic aesthetic of the 1950s, the Smeg ECF03CREU seduces with its vintage and sophisticated look. Its rounded curves and glossy cream finish give it a timeless distinction, while its die-cast aluminum construction ensures solidity and longevity. The stainless steel finishes harmoniously complete the whole with a note of elegance.

Behind itsreduced footprint, the Smeg ECF03CREU makes no compromise on quality or design.

Equipped with a58 mm stainless steel portafilter, typically found on professional machines, it guarantees uniform extraction and a very balanced coffee. ItsThermoblockheating system provides rapid and stable temperature rise, ensuring exemplary consistency from cup to cup. The integrated pressure gauge allows you to monitor extraction pressure and optimize grinding or tamping for a perfect result.

The Smeg ECF03CREU has been designed for accessible and instinctive use: intuitive controls, ergonomic steam lever and passive cup warmer for maximum comfort. Supplied with non-pressurized and pressurized filters, it adapts to all levels, from novices to the most discerning connoisseurs.

Retro charm at the service of espresso and Cold Brew

The Smeg ECF03 is characterized by aclean 4-button interfaceand anincorporated pressure gaugethat indicates extraction quality in real time.

The major addition of this version: theintegrated Cold Brew functionality, allows you to effortlessly make cold coffees (single or double dose) directly from the machine. The machine also offers temperature adjustments (low, optimal, high) as well as volume for your espressos.

The steam wand in stainless steel allows you to prepare cappuccinos and latte macchiatos with ease. Added to this are a programmable standby mode as well as a descaling alert for daily use that is both economical and worry-free.

To get the most out of this machine, it is recommended to use a coffee grinder in order to obtain a fresh grind, perfectly adapted to each extraction.

Accessories and maintenance

Accessories : 2-spout 58 mm stainless steel portafilter, single 1 and 2 cup filters, pressurized 1 and 2 cup filters, a stainless steel tamper and maintenance accessories. To complete your barista equipment, choose the SMEG tamping mat, ideal for your machine.

Maintenance: The Smeg ECF03 was designed to simplify these daily operations: removable water tank and drip tray, integrated storage for accessories, simplified access to the brew group, integrated descaling alert. Regular cleaning of the steam wand also prevents milk residue buildup.

The silicone disc allows you to perform a backflush (deep cleaning).

The Smeg ECF03 truly convinced us. Behind its iconic retro design lie solid performance, with a 58 mm group comparable to professional machines for quality extraction, even for novices.

Its integrated Cold Brew function constitutes a real innovation: preparing cold coffee without accessories or waiting time becomes possible. The machine remains relatively quiet, the steam wand heats up quickly and facilitates milk frothing.

However, remain attentive: even at minimum temperature, the coffee remains very hot. Lacking an integrated grinder, it requires a suitable burr grinder to express its full potential. If you already have the necessary equipment or if you use pre-ground coffee, it remains an excellent choice.
