The machine interface is very simple to use. It consists of buttons, lever and knob for quick handling. The intuitive user interface of theLCD screen allows you to finely adjust each parameter: pre-infusion duration, water temperature and steam intensity for a result perfectly tailored to your tastes.
To ensure good stability during use, the machine is equipped with a non-slip base. It features professional functions such as adjustable Eco Mode, a standby function, unit of measurement setting, water hardness setting. The SMEG coffee machine EMC02 emerald green has a 1.7 L water tank that is easy to fill.
Professional performance at home
At the heart of the SMEG EMC02EGMEU beats a triple thermoblock heating system of unmatched precision. One thermoblock is dedicated to coffee, while another serves the steam circuit. The 58 mm group head, meanwhile, is actively heated to ensure precise temperature control.
Each cup, from intense espresso to velvety cappuccino, is prepared at the ideal temperature thanks to dedicated heating elements, thus guaranteeing perfect aromatic consistency. In just under 4 minutes, the espresso machine is ready to use and has reached the optimal temperature.
The coffee machine SMEG EMC02EGMEU features a pre-infusion function, which lightly moistens the freshly ground coffee before extraction. This process helps develop the aromas for a more balanced and flavorful beverage.
Optimal features
The SMEG semi-pro offers 2 predefined espresso programs, single coffee and double coffee. If you wish to control the amount of coffee, you can also use the manual mode. Simply operate the lever to choose your cup length.
Thanks to theLCD screen, each extraction is precisely timed, offering total control over the coffee length. The professional pressure gauge allows continuous pressure monitoring, ensuring consistent extraction quality.
To make perfect milk-based drinks (cappuccinos, lattes macchiatos and other derivatives) the SMEG EMC02EGMEU features a stainless steel steam wand that transforms milk into a creamy and silky foam. You have 3 steam levels.

Automatic or manual, you control your extraction! For the steam wand, I have some reservations.. but beyond that, the new SMEG semi-pro espresso machine EMC02 offers 3 steam levels to customize cappuccinos and lattes to perfection. The EMC02 is fast, efficient and easy to clean, and that is a real advantage.
