Timemore hits hard with the Chestnut C3S Pro.

With itsaluminum alloy chassis, the C3S Pro is alightweight manual coffee grinder, perfect for daily use, travel or camping. Robustness is also guaranteed by theretractable handle in stainless steel, the solid internal mechanism and thesteel conical burrs.

The patented S2C (Spike to Cut) burrs

Timemore equipped the C3S Pro with the same burrs as the Chestnut X. The same quality, in a more compact diameter.

These38 mm stainless steel (SUS 440 type) conical burrs with the patented S2C (Spike to Cut) design, were designed to cut coffee beans into coarse particles before grinding them completely. According to Timemore, these burrs allow you to grind your coffee while ensuring that the silver skin of the coffee beans does not end up in the grind, which reduces bitterness and providesbetter clarity in the cup.

Settings and other features of the Chestnut C3S Pro

The grind adjustment is done by clicks, with a steel dial located under the grinder.

The main dial offers a choice of20 settings : 

- 7 to 8 clicks for espresso

- 13 to 16 clicks for filter and pour-over methods

- 17 to 20 clicks for a French press

This compact manual grinder ensures better handling with its52 mm diameter and its matte non-slip surface.

Thegrind container is made of aluminum. It can hold up to 25 g of ground coffee.

Theinternal 2-ball bearing system is supported by a robust aluminum support, to ensure stability during grinding.

The Timemore C3S Pro manual coffee grinder is supplied in a box with a carrying bag and a cleaning brush to maintain the burrs.
