1336 is the number of days that theconflict between the employees of the Fralib factory and the Anglo-Dutch multinational Unilever, the world's largest producer of ice cream and tea. A few kilometers from Marseille, employees resisted to keep their jobs and preserve their factory in Gémenos, which was slated for closure. After making their voices heard all summer long, then the next, and the next again, and after 1336 days of exemplary mobilization, the former Fralib employees finally won by taking over the factory as SCOP TI (Société Coopérative Ouvrière Provençale de Thés et d'Infusions) and launching the tea and infusion brand 1336.
