Baratza designed the Sette 270 grinder in collaboration with Etzinger, an internationally recognized brand for the quality and longevity of their burrs.
The Sette 270 features 40 mm M3 conical stainless steel burrs, with an innovative design.
The mechanism drives the outer burr in rotation, while the inner burr remains stationary. This mechanical architecture doubles the efficiency of this grinder compared to competing models.
The coffee beans are ground and then directly channeled to the grounds bin or your portafilter.
The Baratza Sette 270 grinder produces 3.5 to 5.5 grams per second, depending on the roast level and chosen grind setting. The burrs display excellent resistance and maintain their sharpness over the long term.
The Sette 270 coffee grinder features an intuitive control panel equipped with a backlit LED display, easy to read.
Three programmable buttons allow you to adjust the grinding duration to the hundredth of a second.
Each button is set for the following durations: Duration: 1 = 10s, 2 = 20s, 3 = 30s
You can easily modify and save your own doses by following the instructions in the manual.
The Sette 270 offers 31 macro settings. It also allows you to fine-tune the continuous adjustment (micro), particularly suitable for espresso grinding which requires more finesse.
The macro/micro system is directly coupled to the conical burr which adjusts instantly and precisely according to your settings.
The integrated convertible holder allows you to grind coffee directly into a portafilter, or into the supplied container (for 160 g).
The grounds container is made of antistatic ABS. It is equipped with a pouring spout facilitating transfer to your filter.
The portafilter forks are adjustable to fit the dimensions of most portafilters and feature an integrated hook ensuring better stability.
The hopper can hold between 300 to 400 g of coffee beans.
