Our recommendations for infusing your Bancha Hojicha green tea from Uji
This tea is perfectly suited for infusion in a teapot. However, our infusion instructions also apply to use in a mug.
Plan for a teaspoon of tea for 200 ml of water. Let your tea infuse in water brought to 95°C for 60 seconds. This is a very brief infusion time compared to classic teas. You can make a second infusion with the same leaves in the same way, allowing you to enjoy it twice as much. The flavor will be milder, but just as tasty.
Feel free to consume it hot, but also cold. In this case, simply let your tea infuse in the refrigerator before savoring it. Feel free to add a slice of lemon or a mint leaf if you wish.
