Carefully harvestedmanually & monsooned, the "Malabar India Bio" is a coffee of exceptional rarity. Subjected to the humidity of monsoon winds, it benefits from an exclusive treatment that gives it an incomparable spicy bouquet, evoking the fragrances of pepper.

Coming from organic farming, it also benefits from Fairtrade certification. This is a pure origin coffee grown by small producers in respect of nature and man, in the heart of an isolated and mountainous region (1500m) of Kerala. Protected from rain and sun rays by a cover of trees and vegetation, the coffee plants grow deep in the jungle, amidst an astonishing diversity of species. A biodiversity preserving the exceptional quality of the soil and coffee.

This coffee is inspired by the festival "Holi", sometimes called "Festival of Colors". It is an ancestral Hindu tradition during which the arrival of spring and fertility is celebrated. Participants are dressed in white and throw colored pigments at each other. Each pigment has its own meaning: the red for love, the green for harmony, the orange for optimism and the blue for vitality.

Coming from a family of peddlers from Alsace, Marc Bloch founded <b>La Semeuse in 1900</b> and specialized in the import and distribution of peanut oil. <p> It was only a few years later that <b>La Semeuse</b> diversified by developing <b>coffee roasting</b>.</p> <p>Since always, the priority of <b>Cafés La Semeuse </b>is to guarantee the consistency of taste and the quality of its coffees. Analysis, tasting and development punctuate its daily routine so that the coffee acquires its exquisite aromas and delicious taste.</b>.</p>Created in 1900 by a French family, La Semeuse remains a family business since its beginnings. The brand has always kept its original site in La Chaux-de-Fonds, located at 1000m altitude in a high Jura valley, an essential location for developing the unique taste of its coffees. Originally specialized in the marketing of a renowned peanut oil, the founding family chose in 1920 to apply this same name to its coffee brand. Thus were born the Cafés La Semeuse. Since the beginning, the priority of Cafés La Semeuse is to ensure taste consistency and excellence of its products. The brand offers unique and timeless recipes developed according to an artisanal roasting method, allowing each customer to find in their cup the coffee they appreciate and know.
